The cultural promoter Mallorga Ana Rosa Garcia was visiting San Luis Potosi. Management about their work on behalf of a community in the state of Colima, where the main problem was lack of continuity in studies of children and the large percentage of paternity was young, the teacher Ana Rosa Garcia Mallorga, said that was based on the approach of art on par with the basic education curriculum, as could counteract the dropout rate.
"The hardest thing was to establish that the diagnosis was not encouraging, children and youth of the community and at a young age, began to work as masons and barges, and girls and girls in domestic service. Skipped stages of their life, not only physical but also psychological and emotional. The worst happened in the children who had to take on behaviors that were not age-appropriate, such as alcoholism, and early parenthood.
"However, training was a great creative tool to counter this. Along with his academic training, they began to teach violin, theater, music, anthropology, regional theater, visual arts, storytelling and literature. Thus, over a decade, children who started this process and who are now young people established the difference, and the negative percentage that characterized the community has decreased.
