Shorts Competition III for peace

The municipal council of San Pablo de Buceite has called the Shorts Competition III for Peace.
This contest cimematográfico in its third edition on the occasion of the IX Workshop for Peace in San Pablo de Buceite to be held from 21 to 30 July.

The works must be submitted by Friday 17 June.

A. - Participation in the Short Film Competition is open all @ s @ s director over 16 years both individually and collectively, without distinction of nationality or residence.

2. - The issue of peace will be short and should collect and celebrate the spirit of the Workshops for Peace in San Pablo de Buceite: peace, tolerance, solidarity and understanding among different cultures and peoples.

3. - For your selection, short films, regardless of original format be delivered on DVD, run by the sending participant. Copies will be part of the municipal archive of the Department of Cultural Activities, Training and Sports, the Municipal District of St. Paul, City of Jimena de la Frontera.

4. - Films can be in any language, however, if the language of the film was not Castilian, must be subtitled in Castilian.

5. - Each author and / or group may submit more than a short, does not require its unprecedented nature and may have been awarded in other contests. The shorts must be after 2006.

6. - All shipments will state clearly indicating the author / s, photocopy of ID card or similar, postal and email addresses, phone numbers, title of work, duration and original format, sheet, short biography of the author photograph of the director and / or work and a brief synopsis of it.

August. - All work subject to competition will have a deadline for receipt on Friday, June 17, 2011, rejecting those arriving later.

9. - The organization shall make a preliminary selection of up to 3 short films and notified to the authors, the shorts will be screened at the Cultural Center, the day that the organization sees fit during the Workshop for Peace.

10. - The 3 short finalists will advance to the final competition, establishing a prize of 600 Euros for the winner and 300 Euro for the second prize. The jury may award honorable mentions.

11. - It is requested that the principal or a representative of the winning film will present the day of the awards ceremony to collect the same.

12. - The contestants are responsible for the short films presented are not subject to any legal claim.

13. The organization reserves the right to modify any of these rules if circumstances require it, it would be given adequate publicity.

14. - Participation in this Contest implies acceptance of its rules.
