Distance Education

The Arts Center of San Luis Potosi Centennial has a distance education project that aims to bring art education more affordable and easily to new sectors of the population, both capital and municipal levels. The project consists of several programs in different ways for different groups and disciplines, some still in progress and others are currently operating.

Teleaula of CASLPC

The program of CASLPC teleaula started in January 2011 providing free broadcast of courses, seminars, festivals, conferences and other artistic events via satellite. The academic offer comes directly from the National Center for the Arts through its Department of Distance Education and Channel 23 (EDUSAT Network section dedicated to the arts).

The courses require only a monitor or guide who knows the subject and to facilitate learning with the help of additional activities to video. All courses are taught by artists recorded or renowned art educators in the country and international experience. The disciplines of academic offerings range from music, visual arts, dance, theater, new technologies, artistic awareness, cultural management, arts education, etc..

Municipal Teleaulas

The program aims to equip municipal teleaulas houses and cultural centers in the different municipalities of the state (created by the Ministry of Culture of the State) in order to facilitate access to courses offered by Channel 23 in an effort to promote the artistic development in each region. Thus, decentralizing the initiation and updating of the capital artistic Potosi and allowing growth in different populations.
